Coach Training:

For veteran teachers interested in using their skills and experience to help support the growth of new teachers, Reach offers a BTSA/Induction coach development program that is based on the highly regarded Santa Cruz New Teacher Center model. Teacher Leaders work with preliminary credentialed new teachers in their schools, fostering their habits of mind and instructional skills.

BTSA/Induction coach training is free of charge and Reach coaches either receive classroom release time or a $1500 stipend.

If you are interested in being a Reach BTSA/Induction coach please contact Page Tompkins, Reach Director and include your name, school, and whether you have an identified new teacher in your school with whom you would like to work.
