The Reach Institute for School Leadership was designed from the outset to meet the needs of educators learning complex skills while on the job in difficult circumstances. Reach’s programs and philosophy are firmly grounded in the principle that new knowledge and skills are more effectively developed when integrated with the experience gained in day-to-day challenges.
Over the last 3 years, the Reach Institute for School Leadership has on average worked with 300 teachers and teacher leaders per year across the greater Bay Area. We work with candidates from both traditional district settings and charter school settings. With the range of programs that we offer, we work with brand new teachers that are earning their preliminary teaching credential, teachers that have been working in schools for 2-3 year working to earn their clear teaching credential and also school leaders and district leaders on their pathway to become strong instructional leaders with an administrative services credentials.
The Reach Institute for School Leadership is committed to developing and supporting teachers and educational leaders who are committed to creating and sustaining effective urban schools.
