Instructional Leadership Academy

Are you interested in becoming an administrator with strong instructional leadership skills?

Whether you are interested in becoming a school leader, a teacher leader, or a central office leader, the Reach Instructional Leadership Academy will hone your instructional leadership skills.

Reach believes that an inquiry-based approach to instructional problem solving is key to high quality leadership. Our courses will ask you to read and discuss research, and to apply the learning to your current context. The focus on job-embedded coursework, supported by monthly coaching, is a signature of our approach.

In order to maximize job embedded application and active engagement in class, we use online tools both for discussion and for uploading video of your practice.

Candidates who complete the Reach Instructional Leadership Academy will be skilled instructional coaches, supervisors, and facilitators of professional learning, with a highly developed inquiry orientation to instructional problems of practice.
